Basic t-shirts are wardrobe essentials, especially in the Spring when the weather can be so unpredictable. They can be worn on their own or easily layered up if it turns chillier or rainy. I love H&M for basics as they’re really affordable without having to compromise on quality, and they have some lovely colour choices for Spring t-shirts. I wanted to share 3 outfits that include basic H&M t-shirts, all ideal for those warmer Spring days that I’m hoping we’ll have soon!
For my first outfit, I styled this powder pink t-shirt with “love” written on one side. I love the colour of this t-shirt and it makes the perfect pastel pink choice for Spring. At just £3.99, this t-shirt feels like it should be more expensive, as the material is comfortable and good quality. Here, I styled the t-shirt with stripy trousers and pink trainers, both from Pull&Bear. I like pink and grey as a colour combination, and the trousers make this outfit a bit more interesting as a daytime look.
My second outfit is all about blue and I styled this basic blue t-shirt that really is a Spring essential. This one was also £3.99 and is another lovely colour for Spring. It has a slightly wider neckline than the other t-shirt and I like that it’s nice and loose for a warmer day. I paired the t-shirt with these blue jeans and sandals, both from New Look. This outfit is a brilliant go to on a sunny day, and if it’s a bit chillier the t-shirt can be layered up and the sandals swapped for trainers.
For my last outfit, I wanted to style a basic t-shirt for the evening, so I chose this white t-shirt which is the same as the pink one above. It also says “love” on one side which is a nice addition to a plain white tee. To make it work for the evening, I wore it with these black jeans and grey jacket from Topshop, as well as grey open-toe heels from Pull&Bear. This t-shirt is so versatile and it works in so many ways for both the daytime and evening, and at just £3.99 it really is a must have!
I bought these 3 basic H&M t-shirts for under £12 which is amazing value considering how many ways they can be worn. They go with so many items that I already have in my wardrobe and they’ve become a go to for layering up in the Spring whatever the weather!
