A shacket is an item that I’ve been looking to add to my wardrobe for a while, and I finally found this check one that I love from Pull&Bear (via ASOS). Even though I’m a bit late to the trend, I’m glad I’ve now embraced it as this shacket is my new favourite item to layer up with. I think a shacket is ideal for Spring when the temperature can be a bit in between and a light jacket is needed. I’ve shared two ways that I style this check shacket for Spring, both for the daytime and for an evening out!
My first outfit is a casual look which I think is finished off well with the shacket. It’s definitely an item that can be worn out in the daytime and, at the moment at least, makes the daily walk or trip to the supermarket outfit more interesting. Here, I paired the shacket with a simple white tee and blue jeans, both from H&M, and my cream Converse. I wasn’t sure if it would work with blue jeans at first, but I think it keeps the look really casual and this is now an easy, go to outfit for me in the daytime.
For my second outfit, I wanted to style the shacket for the evening and create an outfit perfect for the pub garden. I love how the shacket works for a dressed up look and the quality of the material is just brilliant. I wore the shacket with a lettuce edge t-shirt from Miss Selfridge, black jeans from Topshop and heeled boots from Pull&Bear. I think black jeans work really well with this shacket and the outfit is just right for a Spring evening that might not be as warm as a Summer one.
This check shacket is now a wardrobe staple for me and I would definitely recommend adding one to your wardrobe if you like the trend. ASOS still have some very similar Pull&Bear shackets on their website, and I think they would make a lovely addition to any Spring wardrobe!
