Lily Lolo Spellbound Collection Review

by notsomousybrown

If you know me or have read some of my other beauty posts, you’ll know that Lily Lolo is one of my favourite makeup brands. The cruelty free, natural makeup in mostly mineral form is why I love the brand so much. Lily Lolo’s Spellbound Collection was one of the lovely Christmas collections that Lily Lolo had put together this time round and I was lucky enough to open it up on Christmas Day. With an eyeshadow palette, mineral blush and vegan lipstick, it’s the ideal all round collection. I thought I’d give it a little review as I’ve been making good use of all three items!

Lily Lolo Spellbound CollectionOpulence Eye Palette

Out of all three items, the Opulence Eye Palette is the one I’ve used the most. I love the mostly copper and gold shades, especially for creating evening looks. The shades blend really well together and the double ended applicator makes it easy to use multiple shades in one go. The glittery shades are highly pigmented and I find that I only need to use a little bit of product to make the eyeshadow really stand out. As most of the shades are shimmery, I’d say this is more of an evening palette, and it’s now my favourite one to use for an evening out. The palette on its own is so popular that it’s currently out of stock, but if it does make a return you’ll find it here for £15.75 in the sale!

Lily Lolo Spellbound CollectionRosy Apple Mineral Blush

Blush is not something I would usually use regularly, but this Rosy Apple shade has changed my mind! Even though it looks quite dark, it doesn’t come out that way if only a little product is applied. The blush adds a nice hint of colour to my cheeks in a subtle way and it’s not too shimmery, meaning it works for both day and night. This is one of the best selling shades from Lily Lolo and I can absolutely see why. The Rosy Apple Mineral Blush is available on its own here for £9.00. It’s on the more expensive side, but I can see already that the blush is going to last for a long time, so it’s definitely good value for money.

Undressed Vegan Lipstick

This was the first vegan lipstick I had tried from Lily Lolo and I love the Undressed shade. It’s a darker red shade that works lovely with the other products in the collection. I think the lipstick is really creamy and is easy to apply without smudges. The colour is unlike anything I’ve tried before and I like that I can make it lighter or darker depending on how much product I use. I’ll definitely be opting for the vegan lipsticks from Lily Lolo from now on and the Undressed shade is available here at £10.00, along with 5 other pretty shades.

The Lily Lolo Spellbound Collection would make a brilliant gift even after Christmas and is still available here at the sale price of £21.00. It’s currently out of stock but worth keeping an eye on as the price has dropped a lot! If you’re looking to treat yourself to something new from Lily Lolo, I’d definitely recommend any of these products individually too. They’re all vegan friendly items and perfect for creating daytime and evening looks. I’ve really enjoyed using them so far and I know I’ll be using this collection as much as I can in 2020!
