Styling and regularly wearing white jeans is something I didn’t think I could make work for me until I tried on this pair. These white jeans used to be my mum’s and she bought them in the 80s from Next. They were in brilliant condition and when I tried them on they fit me perfectly, so I was really happy to have something different to style. The jeans are high waist and mom fit which I love, and it doesn’t matter that they’re too long as I just roll up the ends. I wanted to share two ways that I style these white jeans, both for keeping it casual or for going out in the evening.
My first outfit is an evening look that I think the white jeans make more interesting. Usually I’d wear an outfit like this with skinny fit jeans for the evening, so these are a nice alternative. Here, I wore the jeans with a floral, tie-front top from New Look, a faux leather jacket from Topshop and black heels, also from Topshop. I’m really liking monochrome outfits at the moment and this look would work well for warmer Spring evenings at the pub or restaurant garden. This is a completely different outfit idea for me and I can’t wait to wear it out soon!
For my second outfit, I wanted to style the white jeans more casually, as they work well for the daytime too. The jeans are a really comfy fit and are ideal for changing up daytime outfits from the usual blue or black jeans I go for. I paired the jeans with this stripy shirt from Pull&Bear and my Converse and I think the blue brings a nice pop of colour to the outfit. The shirt is one that I’m always reaching for at this time of year and I’ll definitely be wearing this outfit for popping out on a warmer day.
These white jeans are a truly classic piece that I know will be a staple in my wardrobe for a long time to come. If you’re looking for something similar to these, Next have some lovely white jeans on their website at the moment in lots of different styles. Even though they’re on the pricier side, white jeans are a piece that will always be in fashion, so I think they’re a worthy investment!
