Now that it’s officially Winter (and freezing), I’ve taken the time to sort out and revamp my Winter wardrobe. I can’t get enough of big knit jumpers and woolly hats at this time of year so, without hesitation, I headed to Pull&Bear (again) and sufficiently filled my basket. Something I wasn’t intending to end up with was a pair of white and grey stripy trousers, but they are slowly becoming one of my favourite pieces of clothing.
These bold trousers are an interesting contrast to my usual blue or black denim, and I love the distressed edges. Even though they’re skinny, the trousers aren’t too tight and the material is so soft and comfortable. Will these trousers go with everything in my wardrobe? Absolutely not. However, because of their colour they work well with a lot of plain jumpers and tops, especially greys, creams and whites.
Here, I’ve paired the trousers with a grey knit jumper and mustard bobble hat to add a pop of colour, as well as my trusty black boots. This makes the perfect alternative Winter outfit for me and I’m glad I took the plunge and invested in these trousers. The hat was a last minute decision, but it’s a lovely colour and works surprisingly well with the mostly grey outfit.
As I said before, the trousers won’t work with everything, but the grey jumper goes with just about anything! I have worn it several times since I bought it with blue and black denim and it also works with skirts and fits well under coats. The material is really cosy and comfy (not itchy at all) and I like that the jumper is a bit too big, which keeps me nice and warm.
You’ll find these stripy trousers over on Pull&Bear here for £25.99 and the mustard hat here for £9.99. I can’t fault the quality of both these items, and the hat is thick and really keeps my ears warm. Both the trousers and hat are slightly different choices of clothing for me, but I’m glad I gave them a go and I know I’ll be wearing them throughout the Winter!
