Autumn is the time of year when I think it’s most important to give myself some pamper time. The dark mornings and colder days can leave me feeling gloomy sometimes, whilst also leaving my skin needing some TLC. Dry skin is something that I always suffer with in the Autumn, especially on my hands and parts of my face. As I’ve recently tried out some new products, I wanted to share some of my essential Autumn pamper products that’ll be seeing me through the next few months.
I love finding a shower gel that leaves me feeling refreshed, and this Nivea Fresh Blends Shower Cream does just that! The consistency is quite thick which means that a small amount of product goes a long way and the shower cream always leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised afterwards. The apricot scent smells amazing and lingers on my skin, so I really do feel refreshed every time I use it.
A bubble bath just can’t be beaten when the weather is cold, and I’ve been loving Radox’s bath soak when I want to really relax. The calendula and rose scents are fresh and calming and the bubble bath leaves skin feeling moisturised and smooth. Just a little of the product will create plenty of bubbles and it’s the perfect product for enjoying a long, relaxing soak.
I haven’t tried a moisturising product before like Nivea’s Oil In Lotion – I love that it combines the moisturising effects of an oil with the convenience of a body lotion. The formula is not as greasy as I thought it might be, and the product absorbs into skin so quickly. It really does provide intense moisture for a long time, which is ideal for any dry skin that can appear in the Autumn months.
This face mask is exactly what I need at this time of year as it specifically tackles dry skin. The mask is easy to apply and feels comfortable when it’s on my face. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated when I use it and the moisturising effects last for a few days after use too!
I’ve always liked 7th Heaven face masks and the Strawberry Cream mask was a new one for me. It’s a brilliant all-rounder mask as it both moisturises and tones, leaving skin feeling fresher after use. Masks that leave skin feeling soft are the best kind, and this one certainly did that without tightening my skin.
A hand mask is something that I’d never used before, so I wasn’t sure if it was something that would work for me. I have really dry hands in the colder months of the year and it’s important I keep them moisturised. Thankfully, the mask worked really well for me and I couldn’t believe how soft my hands felt after using it. The cocoa butter smells lovely and the 20 minute treatment time meant that I really had to relax, so it’s ideal to use if I want to have some proper pamper time.
