I’ve been pining for a jacket like this one for a long time, but up until now every one I’d seen in the shops either wasn’t quite right or way too expensive. When Pull&Bear first posted a photo of their new Corduroy Jacket on Instagram, I couldn’t resist going straight to their website and ordering it. I think at £39.99 the jacket is great value for money, as the quality is comparable to that of a more expensive brand. As is usual with Pull&Bear, the delivery arrived on time, and I was so not disappointed when I opened it up!
Apart from matching the colours of Autumn, the jacket is so cosy and the fleece lining really helps to keep out the cold. The sleeves of the jacket are too long for me, but it’s really not a problem as they keep my hands warm when I’m out and about, so…bonus!
Here, I matched the jacket with a stripy t-shirt (also from P&B) and my ripped ASOS high waisted jeans, which have definitely become my new favourite pair. The boots I’m wearing from Topshop are a bargain from last year (£5 in the sale!) and work perfectly with my jacket. They’re lined with fleece too and the whole outfit really does the trick on a chilly, autumnal day.
I’ve recently dug out my cream bobble hat and I know it will work well with this jacket in the winter to create a slightly different look to my usual big grey or black coat. I also like to pair the jacket with a black skirt, tights and black boots, so I can just about get away with wearing it in the evening as well. Really, it’s turned out to be a lot more versatile than I thought it would be, and I know there’ll be plenty of opportunities to wear it over the Autumn and Winter.
