I have always loved patterned tights as a staple Winter item. The only problem is that I don’t think I wear them enough, so I really want to make patterned tights a go to for me. The spotty tights that I’ve styled in this post are a pair that I’ve had for a while but have never quite managed to style the way I want. Because the patterned tights trend has really made an appearance again this Winter, I wanted to share two outfits that include my spotty tights in the hope that I will wear them more from now on!

For my first outfit, I’ve gone very monochrome and styled the tights with block black and white colours to make them stand out. I think the tights make this outfit more interesting whilst also keeping my legs warm in the Winter too. Here, I paired my patterned tights with a black denim skirt from Pull&Bear (linked similar), a white jumper from Primark and a faux leather jacket from Topshop. With the heeled boots to finish it off, this outfit is one that I would wear on a Winter evening out as an alternative to wearing jeans. It’s a different outfit option for me and definitely one that I’m embracing.

My second outfit is my attempt to make day to day outfit choices more interesting whilst again going for a monochrome look. I’ve gone for a bit of pattern clashing here by wearing the patterned tights with a check skirt, which I think works well as the colours all go together. I also wore the tights with this chenille jumper from Pull&Bear and flat black boots from New Look, making the outfit comfortable and practical for wearing in the daytime. I think a block coloured jumper like this one works best with patterned tights and the one I’m wearing comes in lots of different colours too.

I always find my Winter wardrobe the hardest to make interesting, so I’m glad I’ve now found a way to style these tights in a way that I like. Patterned tights are an easy way to change up outfits and I’d definitely recommend a pair for the Winter. I know I’ll be reaching for mine when an evening out is possible again!
